William H. Beatty letter to his Uncle Adam Beatty, 23 October 1821.

Short letter from William H. Beatty of Baltimore, Maryland to his Uncle Adam Beatty in Washington, Kentucky. Beatty writes that accounts from England indicate that the weather has caused considerable damage to the wheat crop. As a result, he notes that advanced prices are being paid for old wheat and flour. In concluding, Beatty writes that "Kentucky tobacco has not improved since mine of 18 Sept."
